When you use FireSale, we collect the following information:

  • Account information -- your name, email address, and hashed password when you create an account.
  • Usage data -- pages visited, features used, search queries, and saved deals to improve the product experience.
  • Payment information -- billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Device information -- browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the FireSale platform.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails such as account confirmations, billing receipts, and deal alerts you have configured.
  • Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve our distress scoring algorithms and property data coverage.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Third-Party Services

FireSale relies on trusted third-party services to operate. Your data may be shared with or processed by:

  • Supabase -- authentication, database hosting, and data storage.
  • Stripe -- payment processing and subscription management.
  • Property Finder -- source of property listings data used to generate deal analysis.
  • Dubai Land Department (DLD) -- public transaction records used for distress scoring.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only as necessary to provide and improve our services.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our terms.

Anonymised, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely to improve the platform.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also export your data or withdraw consent for non-essential data processing.

6. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
